Aman is a dynamic and visionary professional currently leveraging his expertise in the satellite communications industry. With a solid track record from his previous role at OneWeb, Aman is now a PhD candidate, building on his degree and MSc in Astrophysics. His passion for answering the universe’s big questions fuels his work. Despite his youth, Aman’s technical skills and extensive knowledge are proving to be invaluable to Orbital Locker’s growth. He envisions a future where everyone uses Orbital Locker in space, aiding generations to come. His innovative approach and dedication are key to advancing the company’s success and positioning it at the forefront of satellite communications and space technology.
Sia Bahrami - Mechanical Engineer
Production Lead Advisor
I have an extensive track record of being responsible for the design and optimisation of highly innovative designs for high precision instruments, devices, appliances, apparatus, mechanisms, and imaging systems for use in Space, Medical Research and analysis, Life Sciences, Military, Security and other industries. My innovations have boosted the performance of use in bio-medical and chemical analysis, and my microfluidics, human cell and DNA analysis designs are used by leading industry players.
I was a member of a team, winning the “Sir Arthur Clarke Award” for innovative design of an Earth Imaging Satellite from Space. I am one of a very few engineers that are entrusted with design and assembly of instrumentations for earth orbit and flight equipment for space missions.
My designs of night vision and infra-red imaging systems are used by NASA, ESA, air and ground forces in Germany, India and the UK and X-Ray camera is in use at CERN.
The step-and-repeat stamp heads I designed, manufacture hologram masters for security applications including the holograms on the Euro banknote and the British passport
